Community Notice: Criminal Damage to Hollinswood Pavilion Football Pitch

On Monday 23rd February, the football pitch at Hollinswood Pavilion was damaged once again by off‑road bikes. The riders have churned up the entire playing surface, causing thousands of pounds worth of damage.

This is not an isolated incident. These repeated acts of vandalism are having a serious impact on local community football teams, many of whom are now unable to train or play due to the state of the pitch.

This behaviour is selfish, destructive, and criminal, and we are committed to identifying those responsible.

PC Natalie Baggott said:
“Hollinswood Parish work extremely hard to ensure these grounds are maintained for the community to use, and that responsible will be caught and held accountable for this. As the local neighbourhood officer, I would like to appeal to the public to get in contact with any information about who these individuals are so that we can put a stop to this destructive behaviour and allow the community to enjoy these facilities.”
